Division 1:
upRising managed a tight win over new team, Victomz in a solid matchup narrowly winning 477-456
Spartans only managed to field 5 against the dominant exile5 team who managed to make some fun out of it and win 756-238.
New Resurgence powerhouse, cLag sent a message, thrashing Systems AWOL black and blue 857-25.
Division 2:
WaD MF had their work cut out against their top WaD team, WaD ToF but put in an ambitious effort losing 1122-187.
nzGN played another tough game with 5 and lost to buE. However, due to a cheating infraction, the result was overturned to 896-0
Watered down giants, Resurgence fought an uphill battle with 5 finding their 6th too late against in-form Defiance. Defiance won 670-268.

nzGN? What is it? What does it do?
Feb 6th
I have heard this question asked afew times in recent days, and I thought it was about time I came in here and answered for all those who have no idea.
Plain and simple, nzGN stands for the New Zealand Gaming Network and its purpose is to provide a base for which players can come and discuss any PC gaming topic they feel needs to be discussed. It has also become a recent supporter of LAN gaming, throwing its support behind Christchurch’s Got-LAN and nzGN’s own event AuckLAN.
Originally the idea was for nzGN to run its own teams in different gaming events around New Zealand and Australia, but due to a lack of involvement and available players that idea has been put on the back burner. However nzGN’s Day of Defeat Source team has gotten off the ground, named the PwnStars, it has already been active in CFL league and starts this weekend in the Sail League.
nzGN currently has 1 server online, 180.92.199.159:27030 This server is a 100 Tick DODs server based in Australia and while public, it will double as the PwnStars practice and scrim server. We have no plans to bring other servers online at present, but if the support for a particular game does appear, then nzGN may decide to bring a server online for that game. We do have other servers online but due to the collapse of GSP’s in NZ we have lost control of the servers.
The community is open to all, if you play PC games, then you are welcome. Many of the members here are very active in games such as Modern Warfare 2, Team Fortress 2, Counter Strike, Day of Defeat Source, World of Warcraft, Aion and the list goes on.
nzGN has community area’s, the forums are the main area, but we also have an IRC channel #nzgn on irc.rizon.net, a Teamspeak server: 74.117.60.164:9987, Steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/nzgn and a Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=141604433025 So feel free to drop in and say hi.
If your still not sure or have some more questions, then by all means post them in the forums and many of the members will be happy to assist you.

nzGN site & forums upgraded!!!
Feb 2nd
Hi all. With the help of Scott/Arctic Silver (a new admin at nzGN) and CrazeD combined, they have upgraded our forums to include some nice features. Here are some of the main new features:
* Now when you link your SteamID to your forums profile, it will show your steam activity in the forums next to your name with the new integration system.
* The same visual background theme will carry over to the forums section too.
* All users registered on the forums (when logged in) will be able to comment on the front page news articles without needing any separate registrations. Just log in there with your same forums login.
Thanks very much to CrazeD and Scott/Arctic Silver for your hard work. The site is looking fantastic!
