nzGN FPS Marathon continues under new full-scale AuckLAN management!

nzGN in association with AuckLAN are proud to announce the return of the nzGN FPS Marathon!

We’ll be resetting the scores, adding some games and settling in for the long-haul, Marathon style! This time we’re hitting up 4 FPS games spread over the LAN (schedule to follow shortly); Team Fortress 2, CounterStrike Source GunGame, Day of Defeat Source & Call of Duty 4. Well AuckLAN is back in the wake of EchoLAN. We’ve had to fantastic LANs already and now we’re scaling it up a notch! MikiPro are coming to the table with a mini rack, servers, network equipment, various other odds and ends and some moral support! Excell Studios are coming to the table with a flash website with full registration, seating, tournament options and forums. It will all be taking shape over at www.aucklan.com so keep your eyes peeled there. There’s no shortage of expertise behind the scenes or equipment so expect some epic stuff! In the meantime, please check out our Facebook page, like us and follow our news there. We will be announcing a new venue in a few days along with our tournament plans and possibly even a tournament sponsor with some sexy prizes! ;) We’re looking to hold a small test run before the end of the year and a full scale LAN early in 2012 (if the world doesn’t end).
